This is the route we planned: It might sound a bit strange, but 5 weeks is not a lot to visit both islands of new Zealand. We do need to make decisions and therefore we decided to skip everything above Auckland. Believe me this was not an easy offer, because Bay of islands up north was on our list since the very first minute.
